Speed Up Popup Menu in GNOME - Linux

By the default GNOME and KDE popup menu has a delay, just like the windows XP that has 400 ms delay.

Changing it speed is easy in GNOME. Simply way to do this, look the file in the user directory (/ home / username) is usually hidden (starts with a dot) file named. gtkrc-2.0. If this file not found, please create. Type in new line like this :
gtk-menu-popup-delay = 0 The zero value mean that the popup menu has no delay. xfce, LXDE, icewm, BlackBox has a different way
